Join Timothy, Yoko, Fritz, Nora, and the rest of Mrs. Jenkins's class in these fun-filled interactive picture books that introduce concepts taught in kindergarten. From counting to measuring to money,... This description may be from another edition of this product.
"How Many? How Much?" is another wonderful "Get Set for Kindergarten!" book featuring the characters from Rosemary Wells's wonderful "Timothy" and "Yoko" books. This book explores everything from identifying the days of the week to memorizing phone numbers. Each set of pages includes a different activity and cute illustrations to complement it. Oftentimes the text asks the reader to find or count something within an illustration. With each activity comes "The Next Step," which provides an additional idea for an activity one can do independent of the book. Best of all, this book has a story to go along with it as well. At the end, the kids all celebrate "Five Day." This book is wonderful preparation for concepts of counting, comparisons, memorizing important details and more.
Another brilliant book by Rosemary Wells!

This book, as well as all the others in this series of "Get Set for Kindergarten" are some of the most intelligently written books for preschoolers. "How Many, How Much" goes far beyond the average numbers and counting books, which do not tend to hold my preschooler's interest as well. This book (and the other five in the series) recieves my highest praise.
