How Faith changes our outlook on culture

Looking at our current society and the mainstream media. There is much said from a world view about Race and Culture. This world view influences how people see themselves, and others. As a society we want things to change but we keep looking in the same mirror and wonder why things seem to get worse. Even for those of us who have chosen to follow Christ, we can become pulled into the world's view of our society and culture if we are not careful. The sad part is, many of us, instead of being salt and light we have allowed the world's view to influence us instead of being the ones to impact our society and culture. My hope as I share from a faith-based perspective is to encourage the reader to start examining what they hear through God's Word and what He says about us rather than the world's view.
