This is a good book for anybody looking to uncover the mystery of framing and roof building. The illustrations are good and the text is very informative. The section on roof building is well thought out. Excellent reference for a begining/intermediate contractor or a do-it-yourselfer.

This book is an extremely well-written introduction to house framing. Each chapter is full of great, color illustrations and easy-to-follow instructions. The text is clear and concise.
