Love this book!

My 11 month old loves this book. The bright illustrations and the fun animal sounds make it a hit. The only complaint I have is that there needs to be a board book available for younger babies. He has torn the pages out from reading it constantly.

Ideal for children ages 3 to 7

Gently written and colorfully illustrated by Jo Brown, Hoppity Skip Little Chick is the story of finding lots of friends to play with around the farm when Little Chick's mother sends him out to play because she is busy keeping her eggs warm. Little Chick runs with the geese, bounces with a lamb, jumps with a pony, and rolls in the dirt with the pig. At day's end, Little Chick is anxious to show his Mom the new hopping-running-rolling-skipping game, but when he gets home he finds a surprise waiting for him in the form of new brothers and sisters to play with! Hoppity Skip Little Chick is ideal for children ages 3 to 7 and would make a welcome and appreciated addition to day care center, preschool program, kindergarten, family and community library picturebook collections.
