So funny man has written a book. I was excited to receive it given it had rave reviews from people at home in Ireland. Billed as ‘darkly comic’ was a gross misrepresentation. I never even broke a smile, let alone laughed out loud. The writing was amateur and his attempt to provide a suspenseful finishing sentence at the end of each chapter was just woeful. The story was predictable and inched it’s way along for chapter upon chapter. I almost gave up but sadly for me, ploughed on. Upon finally reaching the finish I had already guessed, I threw the book down in utter disgust. What a load of pure drivel. If Mr. Norton writes another ‘book’, I won’t be buying it.
