THE ONE RONNIE

HE MAY BE SMALL BUT HIS SENSE OF HUMOR IS LARGE. VERY LARGE! RONNIE CORBETT STARTED HIS CAREER MANY YEARS AGO BUT GAINED FAME WHEN HE STARRED IN THE TWO RONNIES WITH RONNIE BARKER IN THE 1970'S. ONLY MORECAMBE & WISE COULD TOP THEM IN THE TV RATINGS.RONNIE CORBETT LOVES TO MAKE PEOPLE LAUGH. HE ALSO LOVES HIS GOLF. THIS RATHER CHARMING AUTOBIOGRAPHY TELLS THE READER WHY HE LOVES THESE THINGS SO MUCH. HE HAS A WONDERFUL SENSE OF HUMOR THROUGHOUT THE BOOK AND WE NEVER SEE ANY SELF INDULGENCE OR MELODRAMA FROM THIS KING OF COMEDY.IT SEEMS AS IF CORBETT NEVER TAKES THINGS TOO SERIOUSLY, WHICH NOWADAYS, IS PROBABLY THE BEST OUTLOOK TO HAVE. CORBETT SEEMS TO BE A TRULY HAPPY MAN WHO IS GRATEFUL FOR HIS LIFE AND THOSE WHO HAVE HELPED HIM ACHIEVE THE SUCCESS HE HAS GAINED.I TRULY ENJOYED THIS BOOK AS I FELT THE AUTHOR WAS GIVING ME AN INFORMAL PEEK INTO HIS LIFE AND PASSIONS.
