Romance

This is a Second Chance Romance, and this is the 5th book in the Hope Crossing series. I have not read the other books in this series. I was pulled into the beginning of this book, and I was loving it. Then, the pacing slowed down, and I just got bored. The ending was ok. I received an ARC of this book. This review is my own honest opinion about the book like all my reviews are.

An inspiring, emotion-filled story

This is a moving, inspirational story filled with past misunderstandings that come to light when two old flames are brought together again. Kirsten Reynolds and Brady James traverse the ups and downs of co-parenting the twin sons he had not known existed. They must also navigate all the fears and feelings being resurrected as they interact for the sake of their sons. The author authentically conveys the emotions the characters experience in a way that evokes empathy. You will want to read this engaging tale and enjoy the antics of the four-year-old twins. I wholeheartedly recommend this book. Although I received an advance copy to read, all thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.
