As a parent who lost a child, I can truthfully say the only real comfort is knowing the soul life of that child goes on. But, other than knowing this soul life includes everything you loved about that child and that some-day you will be reunited for eternity, there is a lot of gray area in such a supposition. What are they doing? Yes, I know the Bible says they are infinitely happy, but what does that mean? Surely they don't sit in a vacuum like blessed-out drones.
