If you’re looking for healing, don’t buy this book.

I was looking for a book to help people who have had their faith shaken by the church. This is more superficial, focusing more about when your feeling get hurt for social reasons. It’s touted as “tough love” but it can read as victim shaming to someone who has experienced spiritual abuse from their church. If you’re offended because they moved the piano over 3’ in your church- this book is for you. If you have had your relationship with God threatened because of someone in the church, don’t buy this book.
