A Different Kind of Love Story

This story was a refreshing look at how some people were affected by the 911 event. I learned allot. I love that the author used the book to tell a love story. I hope to read more by this author.

This is a story of love and healing. It slowly draws you into the raw, empty wounds of loss and grief. Can one heal from such a depth of pain? Is it possible to ever fill such a void and take the chance to love again? D Stephenson Bond invites us along on a journey to empathize with that incredible pain and climb to the decision point. You find yourself clenching every emotional muscle as you wait for the answer. Will I heal, and love, and live? Or will I stay alone, and dry, and let my heart atrophy? The journey is great. The decision wrenching. And the answer? Well, buy the book!

If you want a satisfying new book that could be destined to be 21st century literature here it is. D Stevenson Bond delivers a rich story that not only makes me want to turn the pages but at points I had to put it down just to reflect and look in the mirror at myself. And for an Extrovert for like me that is unusual! If you're looking for a pop culture gimmick book don't look here. This is not a McBook! It's a full multi-course meal at a fine restaurant overlooking Boston Harbor!

A great read with depth

I have read the book and really like it. I like especially that it is not only a good read - frequently I could not put it down because I wanted to know what happens next and how it all resolves - but it also offers the opportunity to look a little deeper into the feelings of the people involved and how they deal with them. I recommend it highly.
