Grazie mille, Harrap's!

My wife and I were very pleased with this Italian phrasebook. First, it is organized very well and easy to navigate through quickly. Second, each section is structured very well. The first couple of pages are the common phrases for the particular section and includes phonetic pronounciation keys. The next pages build upon the first few pages by eliminating the pronounciation but adding many more phrases. The remaining pages in the section consist of individual word translations that fit within the context of that section. If that wasn't enough (and for other phrasebooks we looked at it was) there is a sizable dictionary in the back. Oh, and don't forget the maps of Rome and Florence. We used this phrasebook alot on our vacation and many of the locals on whom we tried our newly learned phrases were appreciative (if not also somewhat amused). I can't compare this to any other phrasebooks but we were more than happy with the Harrap's product.
