Science is Fun

This is a great book--everything you wanted to learn about bats and then some. Yes, yes, I know bats may not be your favorite animal, but they are kinda cute in their own way and are actually very helpful to human populations in many ways we often don't recognize. This book talks about how bats grow, live, fly, see, etc. in easy-to-follow language (no gobbledy-gook scientific terms here) and has great illustrations and photos. Definitely a good gift for the budding scientist in your life!
