Halifax and Another Hard Promise: Revisiting Canada's East Coast, 2014

My father, Doug Harrison, was a member of the Royal Canadian Navy Volunteer Reserve and of Combined Operations in 1941-45. I buried him at sea in June, 2010 to fulfil a promise I'd made to him many years earlier. In June, 2014 I motorcycled once again from London, Ontario to Halifax, Nova Scotia to revisit the burial site and remember a hard-working family man. I include several short stories in this book that tell of some of the trip's high-lights and low-lights. Ever been to the top of Tatamagouche Mountain? Don't go on a wet day by motorcycle, let me tell you. It ain't pretty.
