This book is part of the Inter-Varsity Press Tyndale Old Testament Commentaries series, and covers the last three books of the Old Testament. In this book, Professor Joyce G. Baldwin, Dean of Woman at Trinity College, Bristol, takes each of the three book, introduces the author (or authors) and their messages, and then goes through the books for a verse-by-verse commentary. The author takes a broad look at the books, covering the many theories for the dates of authorship and so forth, and refuses to take a dogmatic view of any of them. Overall, I found this to be a very informative look at these books. I have found this to be a useful addition to my library, and think that you will as well.
