Essential But Not the Best

GTO 25 is the last volume of a trailblazing series. Warning: it's also the shortest volume that includes a not-very-good 43 page filler tale by author Tohru Fujisawa. Our hero Onizuka stays true to form to the end, as Fujisawa stretches the limits of our imagination. There actually isn't as much of the GTO himself in this volume, but hey, after this, go back and reread the whole series from the top. One hopes there will be another graphic novel like this. It's way better than the anime version - way better.
