The Tides of Truth series follows one lawyer's passionate pursuit of truth--in matters of life and the law. As the storm clouds gather, Tami does her best to weather the growing turbulence in every area of her life. She's just accepted a job with a law firm but now wonders if she made the right decision. She has two strong men vying for her heart--and is about to lose them both if she can't determine which one is right for her. And Tami's new case is anything but simple. When she first meets her prospective client, she immediately knows the rough young teen is lying, guilty...and utterly terrified of something beyond the charges she's facing. What she doesn't realize is just how far reaching the effects of the case will go. Or how close to home the deadly results will hit. For by the time the storm breaks, someone close to Tami will have paid the ultimate price. Through it all, Tami will experience greater sacrifice, greater friendship, and greater love than she's ever known.
I was given this book to read by booksneeze, check out my blog [...] for a more extensive review of this book and others. I did not previously like this particular author, but he won me over with this series. I would highly recommend reading all 3 books in order (this is the last in a series of 3) so you don't miss anything. Robert Whitlow develops the characters and plot very well and almost methodical in the beginning, but he picks up speed quickly and keeps you interested the whole time!
A Great ending to the trilogy

Robert Whitlow has never let me down when I'm looking for a great book to read. Every book I wonder where he comes up with his characters and settings. Tami, the heroine, is one of his most deep and challenging characters that I have read. Tami appears lost in a time warp in a world that is the complete opposite of what she has grown up with. Whitlow also develops great secondary characters, like Mrs. Fairmont, Sister Dabney, Julie, and Zach. The twists and turns in the book make it a great read, Whitlow always has a story within a story, within in a story that keeps the reader rivited and guessing the outcome.
Great Ending

Greater Love is the third in the Tides of Truth serise by Robert Whitlow. It's also my favorite of the series. In this volume we learn if Tami Taylor chooses the right law firm to work for and if she chooses the right man, both of these scenarios have two options to choose from. Tami also gets hooked back up with Sister Dabney (from book #2) and gains a new client in the court-appointed case of a teenage runaway. Is Jessie to be believed or is there more to her story? And what is she running from? Well written and engaging, Greater Love is a thought-provoking read from one of Christian fictions best writers. Robert Whitlow makes you forget that this book is written by a man (from a womans point of view).
Greater Love

If you read the first two books of this series (which I presume you did if you're considering buying this one) and aren't sure how much there is left to say other than whom Tami will end up with, be ready for a surprise. I enjoyed the first two books, but this one is in a league of its own. It's even worth reading the first two if only to understand the characters and plot that set the stage for this one. I read it in two sittings, and would have read it in one if I didn't have to go to work. The introduction of a new character, Jessie Whitewater, a teenage runaway, adds a high level of suspense and increased a compassion in me for a demographic I often overlook. Sister Dabney returns to get under your skin, maybe irritate you, and cause you to ask yourself some very important questions about the way you view life, God, and others. Tami finds herself in more than one situation way over her head, but she grows and matures through them, and the ending will satisfy you on a level far deeper than "happily ever after." Five stars from this Whitlow fan!!
