With its suspenseful treasure-hunt plot, this magical picture book set in the land of the Easter bunnies offers more than two hundred hidden objects to find, puzzles to solve, and intriguing clues that lead to a surprise ending?a meeting with the Great Easter Bunny himself! When Tommy receives an invitation from his eccentric aunt Jeanne, he immediately sets out to find her, but he discovers instead the Easter egg factory, a wild jelly bean machine, the place where chocolate bunnies are created, and much more. Brimming with extravagant detail, Michael Garland?s bright illustrations will keep eagle-eyed readers busy for a long time after the last fuzzy chick is found and the last puzzle is solved.
Very colorful and beautiful illustr4ations; however, did not like text in large retangler blocks - it was a distraction from the ambiance of the colorful illustrations.

The Great Easter Egg Hunt (Look Again Book) If you're looking for a great Easter book for a young child buy this! We bought this book several years ago when my son was 3 and he still reads it. It's a fun story with lovely art and the kids love hunting for the eggs hidden in the illustrations.
Gorgeous & exciting

This book is gorgeously illustrated, and the text matches the pictures wonderfully. This would be a charming story for anyone who has ever loved the circus or wanted to run away and be a clown. However, one big question: why doesn't Alice go to school? It makes it look like there are much more fun lives out there than the reader's. Alice looks 6 or 7 years old, and even a circus girl needs an education. Of course, young children will not notice this little omission, adults can imagine that she is homeschooled, and it's sweet that her daddy reads to her. Who wouldn't love a clown dad, a tightrope walking mom (though probably a lot of non-circus moms feel like that all the time!), a ringmaster granddaddy, and a batch of uncles called The Flying Gazpacho Brothers?
Wonderful Illustrations

The illustrations for this book are absolutely gorgeous. They engaged my Kindergarten students. For the first time, they have truly discussed that the pictures showed what the words were saying - This really hit home for this concept. We had a great discussion about the circus and how the circus 'works'. Story is just as amazing as the illustrations. Our favorite illustration is the father reading to Alice...so sweet.A must-read for anyone reading about the circus!
Wonderful for younger children.

My daughters (6 & 2) really enjoyed this book. My oldest loved the easy to read words. It made her feel like a "big girl". My 2 year old loved the bright bold pictures on each page. The story was short and cute. A wonderful bedtime story.
