Very good introduction to Civil War leaders

This is a very good introduction into the leaders of the Civil War. It introduces 25 Confederate and 25 Union generals/admirals. It is full of battle lithographs and illustrations showing uniforms, weapons, etc. Each biography also has a listing of the rank and promotions, and the battles each general fought in a side column to give a very quick synopsis even without reading the text. Aside from being very informative, it has a beautiful dust cover and makes a very nice 'coffee table' book. The book is well worth the investment for the pictures alone. I am very pleased to add this book to my Civil War collection.
