At These Low Seller Prices, This Book is a Super Deal

I actually picked up a pristine copy of "Great Cars" at a Goodwill store for $2.99. Fantastic book, and I wonder how it could be out of pint. Or was it an import? Like most books with so many pages of color photographs, it was printed in China--Singapore. But so are photo and art books which cost upwards of a hundred dollars. If you have any interest in automobiles, as art or as machines, you MUST own this book. And what other "great cars" book could honor both a Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III, and the humble but innovative, AMC Pacer within the same covers. Amazing detail and historical background. For instance, I've always thought of the Hawk as a Studebaker, but according to Quinton Wilson, the Hawk was really a Packard design, albeit produced after the merger, and in South Bend. It was the last car made to wear that legendary nameplate, and a view the front of a Packard Hawk shows how obviously different it was from the later Stude Hawks. Grab one of these books now, before these sellers realize what they are really worth.
