This is an early reader that sneaks in some graphing to introduce the math concept -- you see different types of graphs and how data is organized. The story is cute -- a kid goes to a family reunion and expects to be bored, but ends up making graphs about all the relatives. It does exactly what it says it's going to do. Readable and enjoyable.

This is a fun book -- my 5- and 7-year olds love it. It does a great job of telling an engaging story while teaching about graphs and promoting math as fun. But the one of the bar charts is wrong -- I guess the editors of this series could use some math help themselves.
