Even though James Stevenson illustrated this book and did not write it, it is very much in the same vein as his typical stories. A nice, simple tale of a girl and her grandfather. There are several Granddaddy and Janetta stories, very sweet and wonderfully illustrated. My boys like this book and I would recommend it for children of all ages.
