This is the story of two women, Rosalina and Zoe, who both lived in Grace Point. It tells their life stories and discusses their relationships with their families. Rosalina and Zoes life begins to entwine when four infant skeletons are found in Zoes attic. Even though Zoe was not alive when the babies were left there Rosalini was and the mystery begins. I purchased this book in 1992 when it came out in hardcover and have read it several times and plan on reading it again in the future. If you can find a copy it is suspenseful and worth reading.
Suspenseful, entertaining, thought-provoking

Although I love reading, often I don't have enough time to sit down and concentrate on a book; yet Grace Point is so enthralling, so suspenseful that I discovered I'd read it in just a matter of days. With alternating POV characters and two different time periods, this novel keeps the reader wondering what will happen next and how the two circumstances are connected . . . in the end, the stories were connected in a way I didn't predict. Fantastic! LeClaire is a fabulous writer.
