In Grace and Gratitude, Alfred J. Elders Sr. recounts his life story. Al grew up in Grandville, Michigan, and worked at the family business, Elders Electric, and on the family farm. As a young man he served in the Seabees during World War II in Guam and Japan. When he returned, he married Lucille, and together they raised six children. Throughout his life, Al has has found joy in service and has taken comfort in knowing that his Heavenly Father is watching over him. Because of God's grace, Al lives in gratitude.
