In this book, the Saddle Club is invited to go to a prestigious three day eventing horse show by an old friend of theirs, Dorothy DeSoto and her husband Nigel. Nigel is training a promising horse named Southwood, whose owner cares very much about winning and competing but not very much for her mount's welfare. Good moral book.This book shows that when a friend makes a descision that you don't understand,don't interfier(spelling?)with it. They made the descision to fit their own lives, not yours. This book shows a new side to Kate. Very interesting book.
