This book is awesome. I have felt similar to the main character when I was in a cello concert and this year I'm in a clarinet concert (uh-oh, I better check this book out of the library again.) Everyone should read this wonderful book. My friends love it and I love it. It deserves a meda! :)

I bought this book for my grandaughter in Florida. She had to perform at a music competition and was so scared that she couldn't eat. I hoped this book would help her. It did. She loved it so much she loaned it to her friends and convinced the librarian to get it for her school.
?Going for Great? is a great book for kids and teenagers

I think that "Going for Great" is a great book for kids and teenagers that enjoy adventurous relationships with one another. Now, you might just think, "this is some old book". It's not. It's a great book for any girl because it expresses feelings and emotions. One time in the story, I cried my head off. The next, I was rolling around laughing. I like this book, because most books are written by people that just want to make money. I think that Carolee Brockman is a great author. She helps us learn three important lessons: 1) just because people think that you're mean, doesn't make you bad and just because people say something doesn't mean it's true; 2) it doesn't matter if you win or if you loose, it just matters how hard you try; 3) that you should always be there for someone even if other people think you're being silly. Carolee Brockman doesn't just write. She helps you enter a whole new world of imagination. This is Julie, signing off.
