i wish i'd thought of it

Jim Ware must think like I do. When I read through his musings on fairy tales and their connections with spiritual truths I kept thinking, "Yes! Exactly!" Even though some of the connections are a bit of a stretch, you'll enjoy seeing truth in teh land of make-believe and getting a fresh vision of the images of the Gospel by reading this book.

Spiritual Truth

I found the universal themes of literature discussed in relationship with the universal state of man to be fascinating. The retelling of the crucial fairytale scenes at the beginning of a chapter captured my interest, then the delivery of a lucid analogy to a spiritual truth opened my eyes to a new interpretation of the familiar stories. This is a book to ponder and the way it is written makes the pondering enjoyable.
