An Excellent Resource Applying Scripture to the Twelve Steps

God Help me Stop is an excellent book. It takes the reader through the twelve steps and gives Scripture for each step. I have used this book personally in counselling with those who are struggling with addictions. When the steps are followed it is an effective tool in helping people to find freedom from addictions. The book contains the reading material. It gives the twelve steps and the scripture verses from the Bible which apply to each step. The workbook which is seperate is an added tool to allow the reader to write down thoughts about each of the twelve steps and apply them to his or her own life.
