Looking to spark your reluctant reader?

This book inspired a love of reading in my second grader. She ranked reading right up there with going to the dentist (no offense), until she got her hands on this book. The short, captivating stories seemed to fascinate her, and she begged me to order the rest of the series. I hope Bruce Lansky keeps up the good work!

Yeah!!!

This book was SO COOL!!! My favorite story was either The Fairy Godmother's Assistant, For Love of Sunny, The Royal Joust, orLian and the Unicorn. But ALL of the stories were awsome; I loved them all! Keep writing/editing, Bruce Lansky!!!

GIRL POWER! THIS IS A GREAT BOOK FOR ALL GIRLS! I AM A SECOND GRADER AND I THINK THIS IS THE COOLEST BOOK. ALL THE GIRL CHARACTERS ARE SMART, FUNNY , COURAGEOUS AND KNOW HOW TO THINK AND SOLVE PROBLEMS! I HAVE FOUND A LOT OF HEROES IN THIS BOOK!

Great for girls!

I have read all but one of the "Girls to the Rescue" books. I greatly enjoy this series because it gives girls the credit for many clever and intelligent things. In book two (2) there are many examples of this. I especially like "Adrianna's Chickens". Adrianna's brothers and father, Roberto, Carlos, and Jorge, don't think that she can make a wise choice and tease her for buying chickens. Then she proves that she made a wise decision. There are many other entertaining titles in this book. My favorites include Liza and the Lost Letter, Jamila and the Lion, The Clever Daughter-in-Law, and more! A great book I would recommend for girls of most ages.

Look, I see a great book!

The book was rather inspiring to me. However, I do recommend this book to fifth and sixth graders. I really like how the the girls are rescurers in this book, because almost in all books the men are the rescurers and I just hate it. Don't you? Bruce Lansky is my favorite author. So I hope that my review really helps you.
