Best possible book of gifts from the kitchen!

This book is truly awesome ... tried-and-true recipes anyone would be proud to give as a gift (everything I've tried has been incredibly delicious), each clearly written to ensure success, and preceded by a brief description of what makes it so special. Best of all, each recipe includes excellent, innovative ideas for gift packaging -- inexpensive, but ways you'd be proud to give to anyone (i.e., not the loving-hands-at-home look). Highest possible recomendation

Gifts of Food

I found this book in my wifes cooking book section of the libary. Inside this little gem is a fine collection of small items in food that can be packed to send as gifts. Even has suggestions on how to wrap and decorate it! The four seasons are addressed in preparing each item, such as "Spring" "Summer" and so forth. The palate will drool at these suggested foods and drinks. Very easy to prepare ( even the way to clarify butter). I would strongly suggest this book for those who wannt to send holiday packages to loved ones and friends. Some of these recipes are great here at home too! Thumbs up on this one!

Outstanding ... the best of the best

I love this book. Each and every recipe I've tried has been delectable, and there are innovative yet practical (and inexpensive) packaging ideas/ directions included with each. Although there are a number of excellent books on gifts from one's kitchen, this remains my personal favorite.
