The gentle eating way is revolutionary and completely opposite to the concept of "FAST FOOD."Stephen Arterburn writes in a calm manner and the reader experiences comfort in his words. He encourages us to "re-create attitudes in all areas, not just food," and to treat ourselves better.Each chapter ends with a prayer, he talks a lot about his own weight loss successes, and about changing our thought processes and pre-conceived ideas about food. It's all about change! He also talks about the intake / output balance. In other words, eat less, exercise more. The second half of the book is filled with satisfying low-fat recipes. At the end of the book, Arterburn lists 10 points to the Gentle Eating Plan. After the 10 Point Plan, I've written in the book the following three entries:1. Set Goals2. Positive Affirmations3.
