Great beginner book, but dated.

This is a great book. Breaks things down to simple terms. You will need additional books if you wish to do more than learn the basics. This book shows its age. Some of the terms and processes are not used any more. Technology provides more data (you don't need to look up prices in the newspaper, you have the Internet!). This book is a great find for those curious, or just starting out.
