This publication will give any court interpreter a greater understanding into the court system and how to function effectively in our work. This is not just a theoretical book, but contains many real-life practices that work well. You will be exposed to some legal terminology, taken through the court system, and given guidance as to how to handle situations that appear in court. My copy of this book has lots of sticky notes and highlighted portions that I refer to often in my practice. If you are working in the courts as an interpreter, or preparing to take a Legal Certification test, please consider this book as an important source of information.
