I purchased this as gift for my brother-in-law and he was very pleased with it.
Love the Frommer's travel books
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 17 years ago
After determining a travel destination, my first step is to consult the U.S. State Department's Consular Information Sheet on the country. My second is to get the latest Frommer's book. They have never failed me, I can always count on the advice, tips and information. Very well formatted, all the information you need is easy to find and always accurate.
The Best traveler's companion
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 17 years ago
Of all the travel books, Frommer's are the best. The Caribbean 2008 is a solid book, the information is updated with a number of handy hints. The Caribbean, in general, offers fewer insights than larger countries one can travel so it does not get the highest rating.
Frommer's Never Fails

As per usual, this Frommer's guide book has all the information you need, written in a informative but casual manner, and contains an appropriate amount of opinion so you know what to expect. I like knowing up front that some beaches are better than others and having the facts to back up the claim. I appreciate the sheer volume of information that has been compiled and presented in a very easy to read guide book. Well done!
Nice overview of the islands
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 20 years ago
I love to travel, so I had to review at least one travel book. Best part of the book is that it gives you a brief look at each island. That way you can get a feel for what you may like for your vacation choice. I like the way the book is laid out. (Important note: I have never been to the caribbean, so I may not know what I'm talking about, haha). Have a nice day. (-:
