Even though I am not, nor have been in Diane's position, I found this book to be very interesting and have even given it to a couple of relatives who are on the same journey as Diane. I tried to read it, as if it were me. I think it would be a good resource to help understand what is happening, to know that there is support all around you, and that in the end it is all in God's hands. The poems that interspersed seemed to be just what Diane needed, and when she needed them. I found them to be very appropriate and shared the feelings Diane was experiencing. I could feel how they must have touched her. I would highly recommend this book to those going through the journey of breast cancer as well as to those with friends or relatives on the journey.
