This is a collection of speeches by Shaykh Maulana Abul Hasan Ali Nadwi in the United State and Canada which he visited during the summer of 1977. He went there at the invitation of the Muslim Students Association, mainly to attend its Annual Conference at Bloomington in Indiana. After the conference, a tour was arranged by the Association which took him to almost all the important cities and education, cultural and industrial centers of North America where a considerable number of Muslims drawn from India, Pakistan and Arab countries live for various reasons. He addressed 20 gatherings, half of them in Arabic and the rest in Urdu. He had an opportunity to speak at five leading American Universities - The Columbia university in New York, the Harvard University in Cambridge, the Detroit University at Ann Arbor, the South Californian University in Los Angeles, and Utah University in Salt Late City and was also asked give the Friday sermon in the prayer hall at the United Nations Headquarters and the in the Jami Masjids of Toronto and Detroit.
