"Franklin's Soapbox Derby" is another book (Level 2) in the Kids Can Read series of "Franklin" books. In this one, based on another television story, Franklin and Bear decide to enter a soapbox derby competition. They're sure they can win, but they don't actually know anything about soapbox cars. This is a cute and fun story about a common childhood activity. Franklin and Bear face many trials and tribulations. This book has a humorous ending too. Beginning with this book, there's a listing (featuring cover art pictures) of all the "Franklin" books in this Kids Can Read series. This is helpful for "Franklin" fans looking to complete their collection.
