Leo VS Raph Family Feud - Stick with your family always
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 15 years ago
This book starts out with Raph not following Leo's way of doing things and they get into their usual disputes on who should lead / who is right / who is the boss (the usual underlining issue between them boils down to who is the real alpha male in their small bale of a terrapin family). Raph leaves to blow off steam meanwhile Don alerts the others that Hun and his goons are robbing an art museum. The three Turtles try to stop Hun, but without Raph to back them up, Hun gets away and locks them in a vault. Splinter sees his sons in danger from Don's monitors back in the Lair and calls Raph to help them. Raph doesn't answer and the other Turtles are running out of air in the vault. But Raph does rescue them just in time and they make up (all seems forgiven between Leo and Raph). I think this is why they are made to fight in the first place since it's so sweet when they 'forgive and forget'. Which is something that happens in most families and makes the bond stronger. Splinter points this out on the last page of the book and I'm fairly sure that's what they are trying to tell you here. Stick with your family no matter the squabbles, a very good lesson/advice. The family bond with the Turtles is extremely strong and I think that's one of their biggest appeals in general. Good book with pretty good art, plus well written for the young ones. Highly recommended.
