It is a good collection of Forest Hills history. It provides a link to the past and sets up a connection between me and My child hood growing up in the borough. I recommend it for past and present residents, and also for history buffs. I have also read the book about Pittsburgh in this series. Very well done!

I grew up on Forest Hills. I would have to say that I had the best childhood of anyone I know (besides those from there!). Although we were not far from the city, we were still able to have that small town feel. This book will be a part of my cherished memorabilia!
