The short stories (by a veritable plethora of writers) all connect with the baseball fan and player in us. Some so much that I actually teared up reading them. If you played the game (at any level) you can often taste, smell and at times, feel the action being described. If you've never played but love the game as a fan, you too will be drawn in and seduced by some of these stories.
