I read this entire book in one day as I sat by the pool on vacation. So it is not rocket science but thoroughly enjoyable. I laughed my way through it and loved the bit with the duck. I have read dozens of these "Bridget Jones" type books and this is one of the best. I could see this book playing out as a movie as I read it (look for it in a theatre near you soon). Pick up this book if you want a fun girly read.

I found this book to be so funny because it was so believable. I couldn't put it down and finished it in 2 days. I liked that each situation has an acceptable resolution.

I instantly liked the main character, Josie Flynn; what could be worse than your husband leaving you for a home wrecker with double-D cleavage who wears lycra leopard-print thongs? Josie has the good sense to leave England for New York, to attend her American cousin's wedding. I laughed out loud at the writer's droll observations about men, love, and women's friendships. A witty, warm-hearted read that I highly recommend.

I usually do not purchase romance novels, however on tue morning I happened to tune into Regis and Kelly who reviwed this book. I purchased it and couldn"t put it down, it"s humerous and exciting, I just gave it to my wife to read and she can"t put it down. I look forward to Carole Matthews next book. Sooner rather than latter I hope.
