Have to make your own simple syrups and infused liquors.

I love watermelon sangria and was glad to see a recipe for it in this book. But as some of the other reviewers stated you have to make your own simple syrups first. For this drink you had to make a simple syrup and then spend 24 hours infusing it with orange zest and lemon zest strips. Not something you can just whip up to have after a BBQ. Another recipe called for velvet falernum. What the heck is that? I looked all over my liquor store and couldn't find it. Many of the recipes require unusual liquors and I don't want to spend $$ buying one bottle of special liquor and only have this one recipe to use it in. If you're looking for a "exotic" drink recipe then just go to [...] and you can find any drink you want free and save yourself on this book.
