More beneficial than I could have ever dreamed!

A friend recommended this book, but I never dreamed it could open up a whole new world for me. Although this is designed as a group study for those interested in prayer walking, I am using it on my own and it is still wonderful. The lessons are quick, so this book is totally suitable for busy people. Even the recommended daily prayer walks are brief and designed to fit into your routine. Once a week, a more lengthy prayer walk is outlined in the group leader section in the back of the book. The benefits? A realization that prayer is much more than just talking to God. A deeper and more intimate relationship with Jesus. A great love for your town and the people in it as you start to see them from God's perspective. A way to meet more people without a social or caste barrier. The warnings? You will not be the same person that you were before you started prayer walking. You may get so caught up in your prayers that you don't watch where you are going (on my second day, I fell on my face and had to have four stitches). HINTS: Pray for the houses ahead of you, not directly to your left or your right. A cute dog makes a great prayer partner. (A dog never interupts, is always available on your timetable, and attracts children for some wonderful conversations. Also, when you are praying aloud, people think that you are talking to the dog and not a crazy person talking to yourself!)
