As she navigates this new world and experiences her first love, she discovers secrets about Sean and Dominic that could change everything. Rating: 4.3/5 1. **Plot and Storytelling:** 3/5 The strength of this book isn’t necessarily the plot. Honestly, I found the plot a little lacking and slow, but the story captivates you with its mystery, intrigue, and raw emotion. 2. **Characterization:** 4/5 I love the characters in "Flock." They are brilliant, flawed, lovable, and frustrating all at once. They evolve throughout the book and really shine. The only thing is they might be a little larger than life, but in my experience, some people are just that way. 3. **Writing Style:** 4/5 Kate Stewart wrote an excellent novel. Her strength truly shows in the raw emotion and the roller coaster she takes you on.
