First do No Harm is the story of two scientists who learn the hard way that in their profession, First Do No Harm is the most important thing.A wonderful thriller pitting two scientists, both with good intentions but with very different views of what is the right thing to do. The suspense is upheld throughout the entire book starting in the Congo in the late 1990's to today where the novels brings takes us from the US to Moscow to Nepal. In the process, I learned alot about the potential dangers the smallpox virus can create and the pro and cons of its potential for good. Its difficult to explain this story without giving too much away. Suffice it to say that I could not put down this thriller and as a bonus, it made me sit back and consider the "benefits" of modern medical research.BUY THIS ONE and ENJOY IT!!!
