Nikki Stafford is the best

Simply a must have book for any real LOST fan. Just great reading with well researched info, pictures and thoughts on every episode. Nikki manages to cover all aspects of each show without giving away any spoilers. You will remember things you forgot and learn things you didn't know about every episode. I have the books for seasons 1-5 and they are all excellent. Thank you Nikki for your insight on my all-time favorite television show!

Things to think about

The author does a great job of highlighting the symbolism and intertwining references to history and literature to provide a much more complex picture of the Lostaways' story. Her "biographical" info on the actors is slim and shallow, but that isn't really what you are looking for anyway when you purchase the book. Lots of work and thought went into it. It is certainly worth the purchase price for fans.

Great for the details you missed

I am a huge fan of Lost. I watch every episode mutiple times. When I read this book I couldn't believe I missed so much in some episodes. If you are a Lost fan. Hardcore or not, you should get this book.

Nikki Stafford has done it again...

About two years ago, I picked up "Finding Lost" by Nikki Stafford. I expected it to be a simple episode guide to the first two season of Lost, and wanted to refresh my memory before the third season started. Boy, was I wrong. Not only was the book a guide, but it also was an insightful look into what everything meant and offered many interpretations about the show. And I loved every page of it. Now, here I am again, holding Season Three's book in my hands. I am happy to say that Nikki Stafford has done it again. Her views and insights on each episode paint a clearer picture of what the characters, writers, and producers may have been thinking. Each section is not a 'recap,' because like the book says, nothing would ever be able to substitute for the show. However, it does provide a background and overall review of the episode, and offers the reader many different opinions about what actually happened. Following each section are several informative sub-sections. Each one explores other areas of the episode, such as where the mysterious 'numbers' occur, interesting facts, blink-and-you-miss moments, foreign language translations, production mistakes, and much, much more. All in all, Nikki Stafford knows her stuff. Not only that, but she knows how to write, too. A most excellent read for ANY Lost fan, from the most hardcore to the casual viewer. I highly recommend this book.
