Find Daddy's Girl: Lana's Missing In Muscadine

Everybody knows her Lana was never really all that famous before she got kidnapped. Now everybody knows what she looks like from her pouty red lips down to the soles of her graceful feet - a bit prissy with her hot-pink toenails, yet skillful enough to guide her to a regional water skiing championship. How does everyone know her? Her father, Adam S. Claypool, makes the newspaper run her picture on the front page every day until she is found. Claypool is a multimillionaire and signs his name with a dollar sign $ for the "S" because he loves the almighty dollar almost as much as he loves his "baby girl." When the newspaper balks, Claypool threatens to buy it and fire everybody who gets in his way. They believe him. Because he has the cash to do it. An army of searchers Claypool brings in an army of searchers dressed in three-piece suits from his bank in Chicago - as well as a band of seven specially trained thugs who are his personal bodyguards - to turn Muscadine upside down. Twin brothers Kip and Chip, who feel partly responsible for their sister's disappearance, play key roles in the search. The Claypools push Muscadine hard, but the small town in Northeast Alabama pushes back equally hard - not taking kindly to interference from outsiders - in ways not seen for a generation. Muscadine will never be the same - and neither will the Claypool family - as lessons are learned by one and all. The Preacherman At the center of those lessons is The Preacherman, Brother Mike Estridge, whose eerie brown eyes take on a reddish hue at times, some say when the power of God is coursing through his mortal body. The Preacherman finds that he's not above learning a few lessons himself - life can be a such a cruel schoolmaster. Nearly 500 pages There's enough action and suspense crammed in this book to fill two novels, as evidenced by its high page count of nearly 500 pages. Return to the not-so-innocent time before smartphones and the internet, when people found other ways to spend their time - some of them not so good. Scroll up and buy this book, then turn your internet off and give it a try. You won't be sorry (at least not as sorry as some of the characters in this book)!
