Four years after a gruesome murder, a teenage girl discovers that some secrets refuse to stay buried, in this riveting mystery from a "thriller master" (Publishers Weekly). Rose was thrilled when... This description may be from another edition of this product.
For my English class we had to do a book report. I picked Caroline B. Cooney's book Fatality. This book was so great, I thought it was great because I love mystery books and this is that kind of book. My favorite part of this book was when the police find this little diary. They find the diary and then all of a sudden someone turns up missing. So they all have to search for this person. I recommed people to read this book because it is great for a young reader to read. So maybe if you have time go to a library and look for this book.

"Don't judge a book by it's cover!!!" That's what I found out when I saw this book. It looked boring. Fatality...this book is a great book for people who like mystery, good, and twisted stories. My first opinion of this bood was proved wrong. When I started to read this book, it just pulled me in. I read it all day and all night. I just couldn't stop. The author of this book is a really good writer. Caroline B. Cooney wrote other books like...Losing Christina: Fog, Losing Christina: Snow, and Losing Christina: Fire. I have not read all of these, but I will. This book is a book you would want to recommend to your friends. I did.

If you like a suspenseful book, one that keeps you thinking long after you're through, then Fatality is definitely a book I would recommend to you. Filled with action, horror, crime, and clashing personalities, this book is awesome! It's one of the best I have ever read, and is my new all time favorite! =)Fatality is just one of those books, that no matter how hard you try to you can never just put it down. It keeps you thinking, and at the end of nearly every chapter, it leaves you in suspense. Caroline B. Cooney has created a book with what seems like an extremely misleading plot at first, but later, the pieces all fit together to form one spectacular puzzle. Within this puzzle are pieces that don't seem to fit until the very end. Even after the book is finished, you'll still go back and think, "Wait a second..." or "Oh that was the secret she was keeping!" With an array of colorful characters, wonderfully detailed and vivid description, and a whole lot of suspense and mystery, Caroline B. Cooney's Fatality is one I would recommend for everyone.

She reached for the door handle, but there wasn't one. She ran her hand over knobs and latches, armrests and protrusions. There was no way out! It was like the back of the police car. You could get in by yourself but you needed help getting out. "I removed it, Rose," said the deep voice of the murderer. "There is no way out, no point in trying." This is one scene from the book Fatality by Caroline B. Cooney. It is a very action pack thriller written by a wonderful author, known for her mysteries. Rose Lymond is an average teen, that is, with one exception. Rose knows secrets the cops want. Four years ago, Frannie Bailey was killed. Not just an accident, it was a murder. The weekend of the murder, Rose was on her way to spend the weekend at Angelica Lofft's summerhouse. In fact, they were there minutes before the victim was murdered. When the cops reopen the case, they immediately go to Rose's house. They take her diary from the year of the murder. She steals it back and destroys all the evidence. From then on, Rose's normal everyday life is turned up side down. How far will the murderer go to keep her quiet? This is a must read for anyone that loves mystery. This story really makes you understand what Rose is going through. You feel scared for her life at times, while at other times you are overjoyed and proud. Sometimes you just won't believe what you're reading. It's a really touching story that shows you the real meaning of life, love, and forgiveness. We would definitely recommend this book to anyone 12 and up that knows what it's like to have a secret that you'd do anything to keep quiet. By: Fajitas and Shari Schultzman
