A good introductory work A worthwhile project indeed

This is a well- written, informative work about exceptional American Jews. I would have included far more intellectuals, the remarkable group of people who constitute around one quarter of America's Nobel Prize Winners.I would have also included more 'spiritual leaders', and less from the entertainment business. I would not have included Jewish gangsters because I do not believe this is really something to be proud about. The important point about Jewish gangsters is that they were a one- generation phenomenom. Overall, this is a very good introductory book, a worthwhile project indeed.
