I Am A Huge Fan Of Douglas Preston, However This Is Not One Of His Better Books.

This Book Had Many Many Very Good Parts, But Inbetween Them, It Was Sadly Lacking Like A Swiss Cheese Type Plot It Had Missing Weak Holes In The Action, Basic Story And Character Line. I Was Looking Forward To It And Am Sorry To Say That This Is The Very First Of Many Many Books Of His That I Would Not Recommend. It Was Simply Not Consistently Up To His Previous Standards As An Author. Perhaps It Should Have Been Edited And The Weak Parts, Etc. Brought Up To The Level Of The Rest Of It. I Suggest His Fans Would Avoid Disappointment And Wasting Their Money And Skip This One. Good Luck Next Time, Mr. Preston.
