In 2017 I was called in as an expert witness to give may opinion on some very expensive external timber furniture that had failed, and then the replacements also failed in a very short time frame. It was patently obvious that neither the designer or fabricator knew the difference between external furniture and internal furniture. This book will not teach you to be a creative designer of external furniture, that is not its purpose. The book will show you how to detail your creation so that it stays together and ages gracefully. The book is filled with illustrations that graphically demonstrate the points I am making.
